We’re very excited here at Cave Innovations to introduce you to our new Hang ‘n Go range of products for drying your clothes outdoors. Using only the power of nature, this innovative outdoor laundry drying range includes the Laundry Dome, the Laundry Cave and the Laundry Hood.
The range is designed to fit different needs and environments depending on space availability in your yard, balcony, patio or garden. No matter which option you choose, they all have one thing in common: saving energy, reducing costs, and supporting a greener planet.
Our innovative rotary washing line umbrella, is the star of the show. Available in different sizes, this clear vented umbrella attaches to your existing rotary clothes airer. Easy to set up. It protects your laundry from the rain and with the optional heat-trapping side curtain speeds up the drying process.
A modular drying unit perfect for compact outdoor spaces like balconies or patios. Freestanding or wall-attached, it can be expanded by zipping units together for additional drying capacity. Designed to fit most existing clothes drying racks, it shelters your laundry from the rain. What’s more, LaundryCave speeds up the drying process. Made from tough durable clear plastic, it captures the sun’s rays, trapping the heat and increasing the temperature inside. This clever design incorporates several different ventilation options which allows the air to circulate and warm moist air to escape.
A convenient space-saving wall-mounted laundry drying system. Its clever “lift-up/drop-down” design is a boon for those with limited drying space. This retractable, wall-mounted design allows you to air dry clothes naturally, reducing condensation and freeing up floor space.
But do these outdoor laundry drying products really work? Well, yes, they do. You’ll find they make a difference to both your wallet and the planet. Obviously, their effectiveness depends on the specific weather conditions at the time. We’re keen not to make exaggerated or unsubstantiated claims. But in our experiments, we’ve recorded internal temperature increases anywhere between 3 and 20 degrees higher.
The inspiration came from our own Chief Umbrollogist Rob McAlister’s experience when installing one of our mini plastic greenhouses at an exhibition. He was shocked at just how much warmer it was inside. The impression stayed with him and during the recent energy crisis he started to think about how he could use this free heat in a different way.
After several years of design and experimentation, after multiple prototypes and improvements we are now ready to go live with our range of simple, practical laundry drying products that makes a real difference. You can hang your washing out and not have to worry about sudden showers. No more rushing to bring your laundry inside—just “Hang ’n Go!”
The new Hang ’n Go laundry drying range should be available very soon. We believe that the potential difference these products can make to drying your clothes outdoors is huge. We aim to launch with just these 3 laundry drying solutions but we have more designs in the pipeline!
In the past we’ve managed to “bootstrap” many of our new product developments here at Cave Innovations. However, the success of these innovative new outdoor laundry drying products will depend, we believe, on adequate initial funding.
